
Cream Cheese Pound Cake

Probably the simplest and best cake recipe there is. This has been a hit with everybody who has sampled it. Great with coffee in the morning or drizzled with your favorite fruit or chocolate.
ingredients
- 3Sticks —Butter
- 6Each —Eggs
- 8Ounces —Cream cheese
- 3Cups —Sugar
- 2Teaspoons —Vanilla
- 3Cups —SoftasSilk cake flour, sifted
instructions
Allow butter, eggs, and cream cheese to attain room temperature (8-10 hours).
Using a mixer, mix sugar, cream cheese, and butter until light and fluffy.
Add eggs, one at a time, beating each one thoroughly before adding the next. Use a spatula to turn batter from the bottom of the mixing bowl, where the egg whites tend to collect.
Add vanilla.
Lower mixer speed and add cake flour.
Spray a bundt pan with Baker’s Joy, then pour the cake batter into the pan.
Cook in preheated oven at 325 degrees for 1 hour and 40 minutes. Test for doneness.
Allow the cake to cool in the pan; otherwise, the surface will get hard.
