This recipe was featured on Meat Church in 2025. We decided to give it a try, and it is definitely a keeper.
Pimiento Cheese
before youget started
Make sure to soften the cream cheese, and do not buy pre-grated cheese.
ingredients
- 4Cups
Extra sharp cheddar cheese, freshly grated
- 8Ounces
Cream cheese, softened
- 1/2 Cup
Mayonaise
- 4Ounces
Diced pimientos, drained
- 1Tablespoon
White or yellow onion, grated
Meat Church BLANCO to taste
White bread, crackers or celery for serving
instructions
Mix the first 5 ingredients in a medium mixing bowl. Be sure to grate your own cheese, as it tastes much better than bagged shredded cheese.
Season with Meat Church BLANCO to taste.
Mix together thoroughly. I find that using a mixer works best to completely incorporate the cream cheese.
Serve on white bread for a sandwich, or on heavy crackers or celery!
